Easy Leveling Up

If you want some quick levelling up, Use Duessel, Dozla, Saleh and Innes to block Floor 1 of the Tower of Valni, at the stairs and one side-passage, and equip the unit you want to level have several long-range weapons, killing the enemies effectively and gaining EXP without danger of being killed. Do not forget to strip the meatshields from their weapons and accessories, leaving only Vulneraries in case they get hit. An alternate way to protect your level-up unit is to place the group like so:

[ ][M][ ]
[M][U][M]
[ ][M][ ]

Where "[M]" is the meatshield characters, "[U]" the unit to level-up and "[ ]" are empty spaces to be taken by monsters. Don't forget to move in group and keep from accidentaly swapping a meatshield with your low-level unit.

Quick Money

Don't use any Elixir, Pure Water and Anti-Toxin you come across. Staves replace them easily and are less costly. A Heal can replace an Elixir, a Barrier a Pure Water, and a Restore easily cures ANY abnormal status. Get up to floor 3 of the Tower of Valni and open the chest for 3000 golds. Repeat like so, using a Silver Card-wielding unit to buy iron weapons for the few units that will fight, and you will spend far less than you gain. Remember to buy from the world map rather than the battle preparation screen.

Get Enemy Items

Place the enemy on a special case (the Neleras Peak Fire Tiles and Gorgon Egg Tiles, and the places where Snags originally are ARE special cases) and let it attack an unit that cannot counterattack (either long range with a short-range weapon or short range with a bow or a staff, or even a weaponless unit). Once the enemy starts greying out, reset the game (while either the soft or hard reset work, soft resetting saves you time) and continue the chapter. If you did it right, the battle shouldn't play again and you have control of all the enemies that haven't moved yet. If an unit is in reach of your Lord, you can move that monster to it and use the "Supply" command to give yourself Enemy Items with unlimited use. Just don't rescue or promote Enemy Units, and make sure no Green Unit is present on the map.

Unlimated Myrrh Uses

A follow-up of the GET ENEMY ITEMS trick, Myrrh can use Claws, Fangs and Wretched Air. And seeing as these are unlimited... *grins*

Have Dancers and Healers Fight

Another follow-up of the GET ENEMY ITEMS trick. Crimson Eye, Evil Eye, Demon Surge and Stone can be used by ALL units. Spellcasters display normal animation, non-spellcaster units simply have their animations turned off if the Enemy Weapon is equipped, and Tethys can MAKE THE GAME FREEZE if she attacks twice. To remedy to her problem, turn off her animations. NOTE THAT YOU SHOULD NEVER TRY TO PROMOTE UNITS WITH ENEMY WEAPONS EQUIPPED, AS THEY COULD FREEZE YOUR GAME.
