Stage select, nine lives, and recover life

Press Start to begin. Any time you wish to skip to the beginning of the next level, hold Down and Select, then press B, B, B using Controller 2. Release Down to hear a chime. Then press B, Select and Left on Controller 2. If you are in the "Star Stage," you will repair any damage, and if you are in the "Base Stage," you will instantly have nine ships in reserve.
