Secret passageways

There are several secret passageways hidden in the game. To find 
them get Kine (the fish) and the Spark power. Use the spark power 
in a dark room. You may see a picture and or door. If you see a door 
go through it. If you see a picture, try to go inside it as if it were a door.


1-ups

In the castle zone you will encounter a room in which you see three 
1-ups that seem impossible to get. Go right until you hit a wall and press 
B. If done correctly you should have destroyed 2 to 4 blocks. Go right 
again and press down. You will fall through the floor. Go left and you 
should now be able to get them!

Beat at least Wispy Woods. Then go back and go back in to where you fought 
the boss to enter the bonus stage. He will start shooting apples and stars. 
Grab the stars and when you complete the bonus game, go back and complete 
Stage 1-1 then go back into the bonus game to get more stars. If you beat 
another boss you can play another bonus game to get even more stars. Every 
time you grab 8 stars you will get another life.


Powers to use on the blocks

These are the powers to use on the blocks that seal the rainbow 
drops in their rooms.

World 1 Grassland Use Parasol Power,
World 2 Forest Use Spike Power,
World 3 Ripple Field Use Rock Power,
World 4 Iceland Use Fire Power,
World 5 Red Canyon Use Spark Power,
World 6 Cloudy Park Use Cutter Power,
World 7 Castle Dedede Use Ice Power,

To get the last rainbow drop (in the last level), get and use the 
powers in the following order: 

Fire,
Stone,
Spike,
Ice,
Cutter


Fight Dark Matter

To fight Dark Matter, you must first collect ALL of the Rainbow Drops 
before beating King Dedede. You will then immediately fight Dark Matter himself.


Boss tips

World 3: Before you fight Sweet Stuff, be sure you have Kine (the fish) 
and Spark power. The light bulbs Kine makes will act like torpedoes. 

World 5: When fighting Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright, try to suck up and swallow
the stars they make. The stars will give you powers. 

Final Boss:To kill the guy after King Dedede, get all the rainbow drops. They 
will come together and form a sword. Hit the guy with it until he dies.


Secret Tropical Beach

In World 5-5, at the end of the first room, there are two doors. Make 
sure you have Kine and Spark power before you get there. Enter the 
left door and kill the enemies. Use the spark-lightbulb to reveal a picture. 
Enter the picture as if it were a door. It will take you to a beach with a 
few enemies, and enough stars to get an extra life. (Enemies can be 
defeated easily with spark-lightbulb) (If you have all but one star, you 
can get 2 extra lives by collecting all of the secret beach's stars)

If your completions percentage is only 94% after you beat the Dark 
Matter. What you should do to get to 100% is to go back to each level 
and go to the last stage where you fight the boss. When you enter again 
it will say bonus chance and if you get perfect on one of the bonus 
games then you get 1% added to your percentage at the start of the 
game. If you get perfect on every one of the bonus stages then you will 
have 100% completed!


How do you get the rainbow piece in Level 6?

First you need to get the spark power and Kine the fish. Then go to the 
second area. Go to the top of that area and land on the top platform that 
has a 1-up on it. Fall straight down and be careful not to hit any glunks. Go 
inside the door under the water. Use Kine's swimming power and head left 
to the door. Go in the door and defeat the mini-boss. Then go through the 
door and get rid of your friend Kine by using the select button, but don't 
forget to keep your special power. Defeat the shotzos with the spark 
attack and destroy the blocks that they are standing on. Get Koo from the 
bag. Go to the door and the snow will push you to the left. Hit the "A" 
button as fast as you can and head right avoiding the spiked enemies. 
Go through the door at the right. Defeat the mini-boss Waiu. Inhale him for 
the cutter power. Exit the same door that you came in. Head left, avoiding 
the spiked enemies. Go through the second to the last door. Use the cutter
power to break the blocks. Land on the platform to the left and you will 
find the sixth rainbow piece! On level 6, Cloudy Park, go in door #2.


Secret door

Enter in level 5 door 1. When you do keep on going until the end of that 
part go in the door (this is not the first door you see, its the last) When 
you get to the second part of the stage just keep following the path, that 
is until you see a star block where the spike and fire guys, break the 
lower block on the left side (its in front of a diamond shape in the
background) after you break it jump to where the block was end press 
up this is a secret door.


7 Rainbow Drop locations

You have to get all 7 Rainbow Drops to fight Dark Matter. The first 
one is obvious to find. The second one you need to go into door 3.
You get the Spike Power. Go back to the second door and get the 
Rainbow Drop hidden there. The third you need Kine and Stone Power. 
Use Kine to swim against the current. Fourth you need Kine and Fire 
Power. This is more difficult because you need to lose the Power 
and then re-swallow it a number of times. Fifth you need Rick and 
Spark Power. You need to go to the fifth door and just keep going 
up in the moving screen. Sixth this is the hardest. You need all 3 
animals. go in with Kine look for Rick and then free Coo. Look for 
the Cutter Power then get the Rainbow Drop. Seventh go in with Kine 
and Spark Power. Then go to the shaded room. Destroy all the blocks 
and enemies. Then light up the room to see the icons behind the blocks.
They well show you the sequence of powers needed to get the Rainbow 
Drop. If you do it correctly not only well you get the Rainbow Drop, but you 
also get a 1up. Then fight Dark Matter.


What you need for drops

1st drop, in Level one go to stage three and complete the 
stage after you pass half way, you will come across a room 
with a rainbow drop, go down to the floor you will find a 
block, you will need an umbrella when you go outside the 
room, swallow the umbrella and go back in the room and 
break those blocks, it's easier if you hand the hamster. 

2nd drop, in Level 2, go to stage 2, to the room that has 2 
trunks, you will reveal a door, you need the owl and the needle. 

3rd drop, in the 3rd level, go to stage three, you need the fish 
and the fireball. 

4th drop, in the 4th level, go to stage 4, you need the fish and 
a fireball. 

5th drop, in the 5th level, go to the 4th stage, complete the 
stage, half way across the exit, instead of going to the exit, 
jump up in the air and you'll find a door and you need the 
hamster and the spark.
