Hold B during your turn.
Advance campaign mode
Successfully complete campaign mode. Enter the battle maps screen
and buy the "Advance Campaign" item for one coin. Hold Select and
select campaign mode to begin and advanced campaign, with a more
difficult CPU opponent.
Field Training bonuses
Successfully complete field training mode to unlock the "War
Room", "Campaign", "Design Maps", "Stats", and "Special Intel" options.
Quickly finish Field Training
Select the final battle in Field Training. Win that battle to
quickly unlock all options that normally require Field Training to
be completed.
Nell
Get an "S" rank in advance campaign and war room modes. Nell can
now be bought at the Battle Maps screen.
Sonja
First, win the "Kanbei Arrives" mission in less than 9 turns; the
"Mighty Kanbei" mission in less than 11 turns; and the "Kanbei's
Error" mission in less than 13 turns to unlock the bonus Sonja
missions. Win the bonus Sonja missions in campaign mode. Sonja can
be bought for 60 coins at the Battle Maps screen after the
campaign is over.
Stop enemy from building
Place a medium tank or any other troop type on an enemy building.
Load more units to transporter ships
Deploy an APC and load a unit inside it. Next, load the APC to a
Lander. You can also deploy T-Copter and load a unit to it. Then,
load the T-Copter to a Cruiser.
Olaf

Beating the regular campaign will unlock Olaf as a playable CO in Vs.
and Link Mode, but you can also get some of the other COs as well. The
only problem is that you have to pay for them and certain conditions
have to be met to unlock them. Check the Battle Maps room after you
beat the Campaign mode -- and Hachi will offer COs for sale (for 50
coins, so save up). Here are the conditions that have to be met to
unlock certain COs:
Olaf: Unlocked after beating Campaign Mode
Grit: Beat Campaign Mode and use Max in Mission 4. Buy from Hachi
for 50 coins.
Eagle: Beat Campaign Mode and use Sami for missions 15, 16, 17, 18,
then beat secret mission 22. Buy from Hachi for 50 coins.
Kanbei: Beat Campaign Mode. Buy from Hachi for 50 coins.
Drake: Beat Campaign Mode. Use Andy for missions 15, 16, 17, and 18.
Buy from Hachi for 50 coins.
Sonja: Beat Campaign Mode. Beat Mission 9 in 8 days (or less), Mission 10
in 10 days, Mission 11 in 12 days, then beat the secret missions 12, 13,
and 14. You can then buy Sonja from Hachi for 50 coins.
Sturm: Beat Campaign Mode and unlock all other COs. You can then buy
Sturm from Hachi.
Advanced mode
Hold Select before entering campaign mode to play in advanced mode. In this
mode, enemies are more difficult to defeat, but you receive more coins for
completing each mission.
Bonus modes
Successfully complete all missions in field training mode to unlock "War
Room", "Campaign", "Design Maps", and "Stats" options on the main menu.
Bonus CO's in multi-player mode
Successfully complete campaign mode, then go to battle maps to find more
CO's that you can purchase for multi-player mode.
CO Drake
Enter campaign mode and select Andy. Successfully complete the Captain
Drake, Naval Clash, Wings of Victory, and Battle Mystery campaigns and CO
Drake will become available for purchased for 50 coins in the battle maps
section.
CO Eagle
Enter campaign mode and select Sami. Successfully complete the Captain
Drake, Naval Clash, Wings of Victory, Battle Mystery campaigns, and the
secret "Rivals" battle and CO Eagle will become available for purchased for
80 coins in the battle maps section.
CO Grit
Enter campaign mode and select Max. Successfully complete mission 4 and CO
Grit will become available for purchased for 50 coins in the battle maps
section.
CO Kanbei
Successfully complete campaign mode and CO Kanbei will become available for
purchased for 50 coins in the battle maps section.
CO Sonja
Successfully complete Sonja's secret missions and the campaign in campaign
mode and CO Sonja will become available for purchased for 60 coins in the
battle maps section.
CO Strum
Purchase CO's Drake, Eagle, Grit, Kenbei, and Sonja and CO Strum will become
available for purchased for 100 coins in the battle maps section. Note: CO
Strum can only be used in "Vs." mode. He cannot be used as your CO to play
war room battles.
Sonja's secret missions
Successfully complete CO Kanbei's missions in a limited number of turns to
unlock Sonja's secret missions. Successfully complete Kanbei Arrives! in 8
or less turns, Mighty Kanbei! in 10 or less turns, and Kanbei's Error? in 12
or less turns. If you complete all of these missions within the time limit,
you will continue into a hidden path in the story line.
In-game reset
While playing a game, press Start + Select + B + A.
Deleted saved games
When turning on the Game Boy Advance, hold L + Right + Select.
