Get items over and over
Sent in by Eric Rideough at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! Items found in dungeons will reappear after you leave the dungeon, at the start of one dungeon there are chests of gold, go in, leave and return to get the gold over an over again.
Where is the Cursed Necklace?
Sent in by Mike You find it in a treasure chest west of the starting castle. It's randomly in a treasure chest that is either that, gold, or a cursed belt. The Necklace is worthless, but can be sold for a lot of money.
How do you get to Rimuldar (Where you get keys)?
Sent in by Zach You have to go through the swamp cave. The swamp cave is located to the north and left of Brecconary and Tantengal. You should go there at Level 9, but if you have some death wish you can go earlier. Watch out for Iron Scorpions on the island of Rimuldar. When going through the Swamp Cave (which is very easy to memorize, so you don't even need torches!) stay to the left mostly, or you might have to fight a Green Dragon who is holding Princess Gawelin captive. If you aren't strong enough then just avoid him until later.
Get healed for free
Sent in by Viper-X27 at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! Go to Tangtegel Castle and find the wizard behind a counter. Talk to him and your Magic Points will be instanlty recharged. If you have the "HEAL" spell, use it to recharge your hit points, then recharge your magic points with the Wizard. Repeat until your HP and MP are completely recharged. This is useful when you are at a high level and you don't have enough gold to spend at an inn.
Finding the Dragonlord
Sent in by F-29 Retaliator To get to the Dragonlord you'll have to search for the secret steps (go to the thrown in the center of the first floor) go behind the thrown and search... you'll find a secret set of stairs.... bring a light and be full of magic power and make sure you have learned the spell "HEALMORE"... you'll need it... (The music gets lower and slower as you get closer to the Dragonlord... so if the music gets quicker you're going the wrong way.... (The enemies also get harder as you get closer to him, like a red dragon that knows the spell "SLEEP")).
Finding Edricks armor

Edricks armor can be found in the town with no one in it... it has been destroyed by the dragon lords minows... don't go in unless you have learned the spell "STOPSPELL", You'll need it... At the very south east of the town the is like a boxed in area.... above the counter and to the right there is a patch of trees..... walk on it (You'll automatically come across an AXE KNIGHT who knows the spell "Sleep"... Use "STOPSPELL" and kill him... don't run away or you'll take a step backwards and you'll have to fight him again)... Search the ground there to receive Edricks Armor... This armor is one heck on a nice thing... every step you take, the armor heals you 1HP, and the swamps and barriers never hurt you again.... pluss it's like 10 times more protective than the Magic Armor found in Remulior (The place to get keys).
Build up experience and gold early
Sent in by Shaggy To quickly build up experience and gold early in the game, go to the cave by the swamp and mountains on the left side of the screen. There are 5 treasure chests in the cave. The contents are: a torch, a fighter's ring, about 20 gp, and about 120 gp. The enemies are weak if you've made it to level 5 of higher. You can reenter the cave and get everything as many times as you want to.
Geting gold
Sent in by Jon Foster If you're in need of gold, the monster you need to concentrate on fighting is the "Goldman." They don't give you very many X.P. (the most I've seen from one Goldman is about 20 X.P.) but they give you one to three hundred gold pieces. (Goldmen do not cast spells, and are fairly easy to kill, with a little patience.)
Fighting the Metal Slim
Sent in by Jon Foster If you're in need of X.P., then the monster you need to concentrate on fighting is the "Metal Slime." They give you very few gold pieces (20 at most) but it is possible to obtain as many as two thousand or more X.P. from them. It is very difficult to kill Metal Slime, however, as they are very agile, have a very high armor class, and tend to run away after the first three attacks. Furthermore, spells have no effect on them. Thus, the only way you can kill them is if you have the Sword of Erdrick, which can inflict as much as 15 points of damage to them (they only have about 6 H.P.) Other weapons only inflict a maximum of two points of damage.
Saving the Princess
Sent in by Jason at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! Don't try to save the princess until you have acquired at least the Magic Armor, Broad Sword, and the Large Shield. You will have to fight a Green Dragon to save her, so make sure you are well prepared otherwise you will lose half your gold after you die.
Finding the Stones of Sunlight
Sent in by Dustin To get the Stones of Sunlight, go to Rimuldar get some keys. If you have the spell Return, use it. Enter Tantegel Castle, go to the guard that says "thou must have the key to open the door." Open the door. Out side you will see a man at a counter. Pass him. Go to the woman. Take 1 or 2 steps to the right on the control. Then go south as far as possible. See those steps. Go on them, then talk to the old man and he gives them to you.
Find the Fairy Flute
Sent in by Dustin To get the Fairy Flute, go north east to the town of Kol go to the bath. Take 4 steps south search & you get it.
Get lots of Experience points
Sent in by John Payne After you get the Edrick's Armor in the abandoned town, just keep going back to that same place and keep fighting the Armored Knights. You can rack up some serious experience and gain levels quickly.
Sent in by William To get lots of Exp. you must go from the big line of gray mountains, to the corner of sea. Only fight Red Slimes, Slimes and Drakees. Anything else you should run away from. When you learn the spell "HURT" you may fight ghosts. The rest like Scorpions, Magicians, Magidrakees, you must wait until level 6. And things like Wolf Lords, and Skeletons, you must wait until level 10!
