Refill your health
Fairies and there secrets
Blueprints

101%

Sent in by Matt Solter To achieve 101%, you must first collect all 200 bananas and have captured all 20 fairies. Then, become Tiny and visit the Banana Fairy's home off the coast of DK Island. Then, after the Banana Fairy congratulates you for bringing back all 20 fairies, she will open the big door to the right. Go in it and collect the banana. After achieving 101%, go back and beat K.Rool, and you will be congratulated with a secret ending.

Go through the mountain

Sent in by Janelle In Jungle Japes, go to Funky's with Diddy. On the right wall you'll see a flower, to the left just awe bit do your chimpy charge (Z + B) and you will go through the mountain. You land in a cave where a banana test is. You can do it but only Lankey can get the golden banana after.

Bonus levels

Sent in by Kecox Find and collect forty Blueprints and bring them to Snide to unlock eight bonus levels (Batty Barrel Bash, Beaver Bother, Big Bug Bash, Krazy Kong Klamor, Kremling Kosh, Peril Path Panic, Searchlight Seek, and Teetering Turtle Trouble).

Kasplut colors

Sent in by Kecox Look at the hair color of a Kasplut when one is encountered. The color will reveal what color Blueprint he is holding. Green hair indicates a green Blueprint. If the Kasplut has white hair, then he does not have anything.

Multi-player Mode

Sent in by Kecox Go to the first level in adventure mode, where you find Diddy. Locate the big pad with King K. Rool's face in front of Funky's Place. Stand on the pad and press Z. You will be transported to a "battle arena", where you must defeat a group of small enemies. Once the timer runs out, you will receive a crown and have ability to play two multi-player games

Make a boulder float

Sent in by Arun Get Chunky, go near any boulder, and hold B to charge him up, and while he is charged up, go to the boulder so he picks it up while charged, and just before he throws it, let go of B. The boulder will momentarily float in the air while Chunky hits the ground with his hands, or burps/whatever he does.

Go through bars

Sent in by Lance Barber Find a set of bars that you can raise temporarily, like the Lanky's and Tiny's in the first tunnel of Jungle Japes. Shoot the switch to open it, then when it starts to close, run as fast as you can to high jump (Z + A) into the cell. You'll look like you're trapped, but you can walk through the bars!

Go through the cage

Sent in by Lance Barber In Angry Aztec, be Chunky and get huge. Instead of carrying the huge boulder to the stone table to raise the cage, just jump and you should be able to jump through the cage to the bonus game! You can walk through it when you beat the game.

Be invisible Chunkey in Jungle Japes

Sent in by Alex at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! In the main area take the left hand passage. Open the gate at the end with Tiny. (This next part is possible only with infinite crystals on.) Jump in the barrel with Chunkey and become huge also can kill enemies just by touching them. But you can't leave the room. To fix this go the armadillo shell and lightly tap A to jump barely towards it. It is a little hard to do but if you pull it off you will fall and land in the area where lanky gets his blueprint. This wears off if you re-enter the room with the barrel; also if you go near Diddy's blueprint you can lightly jump and fall through that cliff. You then can walk around under ground.

Eliminate the Kasplat

Sent in by Mr. Getout This is a code that will eliminate the Kasplat (The people holding the blueprints) in a matter of two hits and two hits alone. First, get the appropriate Kong to face the appropriate Kasplat (Diddy= red Kasplat Donkey= Yellow Kasplat), use a high jump (Z + A) and jump on top of Kasplat's head (Do NOT simian slam him. Jump on him as if this was Donkey Kong Country), if you did it right, he'll land on his butt and go "Awe". Then, when he gets up, do a 1-2 (press B), if you did it right, he'll fall on his belly and die in a matter of those two hits.

Take Small Tiny Anywhere in Frantic Factory

Sent in by Code Hunter Make your kong Tiny and have unlimited crystal coconuts. Go into the room with the DK Arcade and go into the Tiny barrel to become small and go to the top of the boxes on top of the desk. You should be in front of the tunnel. Jump to the desk in the middle of the area. There is a 5 banana port pad on top of the desk. Use the 5 banana port pad to go to Funky's area. There are 4 tricks you can do: 1. Go to the DK Arcade room and go through the small tunnel and the gate will open at the other side. Jump out and change back to normal Tiny then do a high jump. You will be inside the tunnel! Then take your feather bow out and shoot into the tunnel (not in first person view). Your feathers will go into the pipe (only a short distance)! 2. Do the same thing as number 1 but stand at the edge of the tunnel (the exit). Now get your feather bow out and if you got sniper mode from Funky at Spooky Castle, look closer at the window and shoot. Your shots will disappear! The window is black instead of see-through! 3. Go into Chunky's area and go to the bouncing watermelon box. Go under the watermelon box and you will be inside it! Do a high jump when it is off the ground and you will do a very high jump! 4. Go to any pole and climb it. You will be climbing super fast! At the top of the highest one jump down (but don't hang on to the pole). You will be falling a very long time (try doing a simian slam at the top)!

Final Boss Key

Sent in by Lynsey at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! After you got the final Boss Key, use it to set K. Lumsy free from his prison. Then he'll be over overjoyed, and he'll be twice as happy when he steps outside and sees K. Rool's craft flying around. Like a child chasing a butterfly, K. Lumsy will chase it around the island until, true to his name, he'll trip and knock the craft out of the sky. K. Lumsy might send the craft down in flames, but you better wander around the island until you find the wreckage near Bananaporter 3 then hop down the hole. Then you'll land in the middle of a giant boxing arena full of raving Kremling supporters. It's time for the kongs to lace 'em up and hand out a hurting. Like all boxing matches, it's sure to be fairly judged... DK's the first to fight, as soon as as the King starts slamming the mat you'd better jump onto the turn buckles. If you wait it out as your opponent sends out shockwaves, barrels will eventually appear over each turn buckle. When you jump in, you'll start moving up and down as K. Rool bobs and weaves. Look for him to incite the crowd, then blast yourself directly into his chin. You'll have to jump over shock waves on your way to each turn buckle, and the King will give you less and less of an opening to hit him each time you board a barrel. Don't let the round end without KO'ing K. Rool... K. Rool adopts a new strategy after his stunning knockout in the first. He'll hurl his glove at Diddy, and only well-timed leaps will help the chimp avoid a clobbering. Dodge the gloves until a Diddy Barrel appears, then fly up into the rafters and blast the targets that appear on either side of the light above K. Rool's head. If you hit both, the light will fall directly on him. You'll have to drop all four lights to KO the King, and he'll get some pretty mean velocity on his gloves as he tries to swat you from the sky. Keep moving in one direction or another-if you hover in one place he'll hit you... Only the shady officiating of the fight, but don't gripe. Lanky's up next, and he'll have the added advantage of an opponent who still has a light fixture stuck on his head. First use his long reach to press the buttons way beyond the ropes. If you do, a barrel will rise up, and if you throw it onto the mat, a giant banana peel will appear. Once the peel's in place, walk to one of the banana peel is between you and the King. At that moment, play the horn. K. Rool will charge in the direction of the noise, slipping on the peel... The Kremling in K. Rool's corner will yank the light fixture off the King's head after Lanky's KO, and the boss will come out hopping mad for Tiny. Keep leaping high in the air and Ponytail-Twirling until the triple shock waves dissipate, then jump into the Tiny Barrel that appears when K. Rool starts massaging his aching rump. Immediately make Tiny tracks for the hole in his shoe. You'll have to shoot his first toe one time, his second two times, his third three times, and his forth four time. The toes move in only two patterns, so watch for the telltale shudders and memorize where to run. When one lifts, open fire... Who better to deliver the knockout blow than Chunky, the biggest ape of all? As soon as he sets foot in the ring, the the King will turn invisible and start hurling himself against the ropes like a World Kremling Federation wrestler. Avoid the shadow then make yourself invisible on able to see the king and a Chununcky Barrel. Jump in and get huge. You'll automatically appear by the turn buckle, and the King will change. Deliver a perfectly timed Primate Punch to send K.Rool reeling. He'll vary his charge speed-if you can gauge it right four times, victory will be yours... After Chunky's final hay maker, K. Rool will be so completely senseless that not even an army of cheating Kremlins can prolong the fight. Depending on what percentage of the items you've collected in your travels, you'll see different endings, so sit back, crack a coconut and enjoy the show.

Safe Landing

Sent in by DeShawn E. To fall from far ledges without dying, walk up to an edge. As your about to fall, hit TOP C. You'll be in 1st person view, but won't gain damage for the fall.

Beat the boss in Fungi Forest

Sent in by Code Hunter at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! To beat the boss in Fungi Forest you first have to feed Troff n' Scoff enough bananas so they can open the boss door. Chunky will have to fight this boss. Go inside and watch the short video. Once your in you'll see that it is the same boss that was in Aztec, but this time he is much more difficult. As Chunky, keep running around in circles until the boss stops and sits down. Go pick up the barrel and throw it at him. Continue to do this until lightning flashes go through his body. He will sit down and you must throw a barrel at him. Once he's hurt a Chunky barrel will appear. Jump inside and you'll become huge. Punch the boss as much as you can. Continue to do this and soon you'll beat him. Once you defeated him you'll get another boss key!

Beat Mad Jack

Sent in by Code Hunter 1. Mad Jack will start off by bouncing from block to block, trying to squash you. To evade Mad Jack, jump to another block with the Twirl, and keep going around 4 blocks in a circle, until he stops and starts to laugh. 2. When he's laughing, and shooting you or whatever, two gray pound switches appear. If Mad Jack is on a white block, hit the switch on the other white block, if blue...etc. (You'll zap him if you get it right.) If you hit the opposite color, you'll get zapped and die. 3. After some hits, he'll start to shoot stuff. To avoid these, just run around on one block, don't jump, he can hit you easily in mid-air. He'll also later turn invisible, and you can only see his sparkles. Don't worry, it's the same procedure.

Beat the Galleon boss

Sent in by Code Hunter at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! To beat the Galleon boss you first have to feed Troff n' Scoff enough bananas so they can open the boss door. Lanky will have to fight this boss. First, go inside the door and watch the short video. Then when your on your own you'll see that you are looking down at Lanky. Hold Z and keep going around in circle. Try not to get hit by the boss' weapons. You'll see that there are DK stars around the boss. Go into them and metal wires will come to the water's surface. Then keep going into the DK stars until the wires send electricity to the boss. Keep doing this but remember that the DK stars will get smaller and harder to fit into. When you deliver the fourth electrical charge the boss dies. After he sinks in the water you've defeated the boss and got another Key!!

Beat the boss in Creepy Castle

Sent in by Code Hunter To beat the boss in Creepy Castle you first must feed Troff n' Scoff enough bananas so they can open up the boss door. When you're inside you'll see two reptiles putting a puzzle of K. Rool together. When that is over you'll be able to fight. Right when you start playing you'll see K. Rool's puzzle up ahead. Go into the cannon and you'll hit him. Continue to do this until K. Rool's arm falls off. Now you'll see that there are two puzzles. One can be seen properly and one looks like a ghost. Hit the one that looks proper. When the second arm falls off you'll notice that he isn't stopping anymore. Look closely at the cannons and you'll see light when he goes around in circles. Go inside the cannon when the light is on. After his head falls off you have defeated the boss!!

Down Elevator in Jungle Japes

Sent in by Code Hunter After entering the main area of Jungle Japes, use a tag barrel and turn yourself into Diddy Kong. Climb up the big vine, stand just to the left of the flower that is to the right of Funky's Store. Do a Chimpy Charge, you should go straight through the wall into a green oblivion. If this didn't work, reposition yourself and try it a few more times. When you are in the green oblivion start walking to the right, you will eventually drop down into the center corridor just across from the main entrance.

See parrots in the opening area of Jungle Japes

Sent in by Code Hunter at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! This is a cool trick that allows you to see parrots in the opening area of Jungle Japes. First you need to do trick just above this one. Once you go through the wall, head left and try not to fall anywhere. Keep on going and eventually the screen will do a "DK" fade out. Once the screen reappears, you will be in the entrance to Jungle Japes and three parrots will be there. The best way to do this trick is once you clear the wall, angle left so that you brim the back of Funky's store and just run straight. If you fall to the area near Cranky's lab angle more to the left next time, and if you fall near the two Krusha's angle more to the right.

Tip on the Jetpack game

Sent in by Code Hunter After you have earned 15 Banana Medals by collecting 75 bananas with each monkey, go to Cranky and he'll let you play the Jetpack game. While playing this game, try very hard not to lose a life. After you have assembled and and completely fueled your ship, don't go to the next level. Just wait around and catch goodies that fall from the sky. This ups your points quicker than going to the next level where the danger of losing a life is much higher.

Blueprint locations

Sent in by Code Hunter Donkey Kong DK Isles In the lobby of Hideout Helm. Use your Sniper Scope and hit the Coconut Switch. A platform will extend to a small island with the Kasplat on it. Jungle Japes Go to the cave by the big boulder after you free Diddy and find him on a part with vines. Angry Aztec Near the beginning there is a room blocked by a gate. Hit the Coconut Switches and jump across the quicksand. He will be on the "bridge". NOTE: If you don't like getting hurt, learn Strong Kong from Cranky first. Frantic Factory In the production room use the Bananaporter 4 (unless you haven't triggered it yet) and go to the part where Lanky has to climb, and look down. He'll be on a ledge. Shoot pineapples through the window

Sent in by Code Hunter First, go to Creepy Castle, then get Chunky, and go into the museum, and go to where the 2 windows are. Face towards which ever window you want to shoot your pineapples through (whether it be the small house, or the pillar room). In order to get your shots through the glass window, you have to make sure that Chunky's gun faces right up to the window, not Chunky, but his gun, and the tip of his gun should be touching the glass window. Then when you shoot, the shots should go right through the window. Here is an easier way to do it: (It really helps to have the infinite ammo on before doing this). First, decided which window you want to shoot through, face that window, and walk backwards, until Chunky's back is touching the opposite window. Then, keep shooting your gun, and don't stop shooting it, the pineapple should hit the window, and break, and not go through the window. Okay, keep shooting, and slowly walk forwards towards the window you are shooting at. Keep shooting, and the shots shouldn't go through the window, and keep walking slowly forwards, eventually, Chunky will get just close enough to the window for the shot to go through the window, and hit whatever is on the other side of the window (the pillar or the house, or any of the walls). As soon as the shot goes through, stop, don't move back or forward, or you will have to readjust the distance from the window. Just move your gun left or right while standing at that correct distance from the window. I don't know if this trick can do something big or what but it is pretty kool. Too bad, when you have the right distance, and you use the first person's perspective to shoot through the window, you can't, you can only shoot through the window if the camera is normal(not through the first person's perspective) and if the distance away from the window is just right. So what this means is that you can't move the gun aim Up or Down, just Left and Right. So you can't shoot at the hole in the ceiling, just the pillar, house, the walls, and also at the 3 half faces.

Get stuck in the rocks

Sent in by Code Hunter Go to teleport 2 with Chunky, go all the way up to where those 2 rocks are, take one of the rocks, and put it so it fits perfectly on the #2 teleport, then go and take the second rock, and put it on top of the first one. (You can jump on top of the second rock to see even higher at things). Then go fall all the way down to where the other #2 teleport is, and teleport, and if you did it right, Chunky should be stuck inside of the rocks, sometimes you will be able to move around to get him back out.

Save 400 bananas

Sent in by Code Hunter In Crystal Caves, in the small cabin by Bananaport 2 that only Donkey Kong can open, take Donkey Kong in and super simian slam the blueprint switch on your right (if you do it on the left it won't work). Then slam the switch on your left then immediately do the super simian slam. If you time it right you will wind up in a black and white oblivion and if you run of to the left you will be transported to a Troff 'n Scoff room and if you haven't already paid up 400 bananas, they will already be paid and you enter the boss battle. What a glitch!

Stay off the platforms at the Jack-In-The-Box boss

Sent in by Code Hunter To stay off the platforms at the Jack-In-The-Box boss, you have to slide off the edge of one by pressing the "Z" and "B" buttons near the edge while moving. It will make you trip and slide off the edge, you should see yourself starting to rise on a small platform and your momentum will slide you off. Also you are free to roam the bottom of the boss arena until you jump on to a rising platform and stay on for long enough, if you jump off of the platform quickly and get under before it comes back down again you will have your legs in the platform.

Locations of the rainbow coins

Sent in by Code Hunter Here are the locations of the rainbow coins that are under the DK mounds of dirt. Any kong can collect the coin and the coin gives 5 coins to each kong. DK Isle In Donkey's Banana Hoard. In a cave behind Donkey's house. In K. Lumsey's room. Up the cliff after the tree you climb on your way to Angry Aztec. On top of the entrance to Angry Aztec. In front of the entrance to Fungi Forest. On top of the tower with the Wrinkly doors before the DK portal to Creepy Castle. Jungle Japes Up the hill that Lanky can go up to the door that only Diddy can open. Angry Aztec Under the first tag barrel. In Chunky's room of the 5 door temple. Frantic Factory In the room with 3 platforms that move up and down where Chunky gets a banana. Gloomy Galleon Inside the lighthouse at the bottom. Crystal Caves Where the big kremling is who is dropping the rocks. Monkeyport there with Tiny after you destroy the igloo with Chunky. Creepy Castle Behind Snide's HQ at the top of the tower.

Jump on the other player

Sent in by Code Hunter at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! This isn't a code; but it's a glitch. Start a game in multi-player mode. Have player one be any small Kong (Diddy or Tiny). Have player two be a large Kong (Donkey or Chunkey). Now, make player one stay in place. Next, make player two slap (punch or whatever) player one. Immediately, player two should jump on top of player one. Now, player two can jump endlessly on player one!

Kasplut and Blueprint tip

Sent in by Code Hunter When you see a Kasplut, look at his hair color. The color will tell you what color Blueprint he is holding (Example: Green hair means he has a green Blueprint). If he has white hair, that means he doesn't have anything. Using this tip can help you save time exploring.

Play Donkey Kong

Sent in by Code Hunter To play the classic arcade game, Donkey Kong, go to the third level, the Factory, and find the pad with Donkey Kong's face on it (you will need to have the ability to go to DKs barrel level) and press Z. When you are in the barrel level, complete it, and a switch will come up by the #5 pad, go there, and use DK to hit the switch, and you will be brought into the Classic DK game, where you are Mario, trying to rescue the Princess, while DK is throwing barrels at you.

How to Beat K. Rool

Sent in by Code Hunter at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! Once you have the Rare ware coin and Nintendo coin, collected 100 golden bananas, freed K. Lumsy, and beaten hideout helm, you'll get access to the final battle with K. Rool. You have to fight in a boxing ring and hit for four times with each Kong, with round times of 3 minutes. This must have taken me 4 or 5 times to win. Donkey - As donkey, he will jump up and slam the ground, causing shock waves, like kasplat. Four barrels will appear. Jump into one of them and fire at K. Rool when he lifts his arm and yells "thank you" to the audience. Do this four times. Diddy - As Diddy, he will throw his boxing glove. This is hard to avoid on the ground, but easy once you've got into the rocket barrel. Once in the rocket barrel, fire peanuts at the targets on the four lights at the top of the ring. Hit him with all four lights. Lanky - As lanky, K. Rool will have a light fixture stuck on his head, so all he can do is run around the ring. Four number switches will appear outside the ring. Run to where you can get a clear shot, then press b to push in the number. A barrel will appear next to Lanky outside the ring. Press B to pick it up, the throw it into the middle of the ring. A giant banana peel will appear out of the barrel. Four trombone pads will appear on thee ground in the ring. Stand on a trombone, then wait until K. Rool is a straight line away from you. Play the trombone, then K. Rool will run at you from where hes standing. If your timing was good, he will trip on the banana peel. Do this four times. Tiny - As tiny he will pound the ground the ground, like what he did with Donkey. Wait until he pound the ground a few times, then he will start yelling in pain. A barrel will appear. Get small, then run into the hole in his left shoe. Inside, you'll have your feather bow. His toes will attack in patterns. Watch them-when one of them wiggles, its going to attack. When a toe raises, fire the crossbow at it. Once you hit it enough, it will turn red. Get into his shoe and make all four toes red. Chunky -This is it. the last battle. Did i mention that if you lose any of these rounds, you have to start over at Donkey? This ones a little more complicated than the rest. K. Rool will turn invisible and bounce from rope to rope. You'll see his shadow, though. Hit the switch and four Chunky pads will appear. Hit z on one to become invisible, then jump into the barrel to become big Chunky. You have to have very good timing to do this. The first two times, K. Rool will just run at you. Primate Punch him (hold Z, press B) just as he approaches, and you'll hit him. The third time, he will be invisible. Primate Punch him again. The forth time. he will be invisible and swerve back and forth. If you hit him, that's it. You win.

Refill your health

Sent in by Mark Rinkinen To refill your health, just jump in the barrel to change your character when you come out you will have full health.

Fairies and there secrets

Sent in by Code Hunter at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! The fairies are the main key used to for unlocking secrets. They are usually hidden very well, and you need to take a picture of them with your camera. Before you can take pictures, you must first find the camera, which is in the fairy-shaped stone building located in the main hub. Simply use Tiny and shrink yourself to get into the building. Now you're ready to go fairy hunting. Once captured on film, they will unlock secrets in the "Mystery Menu". Some things only require a few fairies, while others will require you to search out every single one in the game. DK Theater 2 Fairies Once you locate and photograph two fairies, you can access the DK Theater. As the name implies, it allows you to view any of the cut-scenes in the game (including the opening rap) over and over until you get sick of them. DK Bonus Stages 6 Fairies Once you locate both Rambi the rhino, and Enguarde the swordfish, you can access bonus levels starring them with six fairy pictures. The Original Donkey Kong in Mystery Menu 6 Fairies and the Nintendo Coin To get the Nintendo coin that is required for unlimited play, you must first beat the original Donkey Kong game. It is located in the Frantic Factory area, and you will need to use a Gorilla-Grab to operate the lever. Once you beat all four stages, play once more and finish it again to win the coin. When you shoot six fairy photos, you will then be able to play the original Donkey Kong game from 1981 at any time via the Mystery Menu. Jetpac in Mystery Menu 6 Fairies and the Rareware Coin To access the 1983 Rare game Jetpac in the Mystery Menu, you need six fairies and the Rareware coin. You get the Rare coin in a similar way in which you got the Nintendo coin. Collect at least fifteen Banana Medals, then go see Cranky. He will let you play the game, and if you score 5,000 points the Rareware coin will fall from the sky. Collect the coin to unlock the game in the Mystery Menu. Boss Battle 10 Fairies Collect ten fairy pictures to unlock a mode where you can fight any boss that you have already defeated in the game Krusha in Multi-Player 15 Fairies The big bad gator from previous DK games makes a cameo appearance in the multi-player modes if you hunt down fifteen fairies. Cheat Mode 20 Fairies If you work hard and manage to collect every fairy hiding in this gargantuan game you will be able to unlock the cheat mode. This allows you to have an infinite supply off all the items that you collect in the game. That means, you will never have to worry about running out of ammo again!

Blueprints

Sent in by Code Hunter at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! The blueprints aren't as crucial to collect as the fairies, but if you collect 40 and return them to Snide, you will gain access to eight bonus levels. Batty Barrel Bash Although it has an unusual name, this is an easy game. It's a slot machine. Use A to spin the wheels, and then press A each time you wish to stop one. Beaver Bother In this game, you must heard all the beavers into the hole in the center of the barrel. Big Bug Bash This is a simple bonus level where you just have to swat the fly in the barrel. Krazy Kong Klamor In this shooting gallery, aim and shoot at the large banana. Be sure to not hit the Kongs! Kremling Kosh Kremling Kosh is basically Whack-a-Mole, but instead of moles you are whacking Kremlings. The same rules apply, just shoot a melon when the Kremling pops up. Peril Path Panic This is another shooting gallery where you must shoot melons into the mouths of the crocs so that they will not eat the fairies. Searchlight Seek Use your searchlight to spot a Klaptrap, then shoot it with a melon. Teetering Turtle Trouble This is yet another shooting gallery. This time, you must shoot the snakes so that they will not drop the turtles.
