Time Trial tip
Sent in by Yutz at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! This is a good way to get a great lap time on Time Trial. You start the trial, you need to save your turbo boost for the whole lap. Right before you cross the finish line, use the turbo boost. That way you're going really fast when you start the next lap. Plus you get a new boost. It's like having two boosts in one lap!
Skip a few places ahead
Sent in by Yutz at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! This next trick sometimes lets you skip a few places ahead, so here's how it goes; right before you reach a hill that goes down to a dip, simply press down on the control stick and you will rise. When you do this you are very high in the air. Steer so you land on the track and I guarantee you that you will be at least one place ahead. The best places to do this are... 1. Right before the tunnel on Klies Bridge. 2. When you enter the monster's mout on Qoron 4. 3. When you come out of the first tunnel in Sokana. 4. Before the finish line in Machaon 2. 5. After that huge ramp on Terafumos. 6. Just about anywhere on Velocitar. NOTE: This only works on Rapier or Phantom mode because you need to be going really fast to make it work.

Unlock the Super-Combo Challenge
Sent in by Code Hunter Beat all three challenges to unlock the Super-Combo Challenge. This mode combines different objectives for much more challenging tasks.
Get the extra racing team
Sent in by Code Hunter To get the extra racing team, Pirhana 2, get any awards on all six time trial challenges. This team is maxed out in every category.
Get the Cyclone option
Sent in by Code Hunter To get the Cyclone option, which makes each weapon twice as powerful, complete all six weapon challenges, again, it does not matter what award you get for each challenge. To turn off/on this option, go to Options on the main menu screen, then Game Config. turn Cyclone ON/OFF.
Get a turbo boost
Sent in by Code Hunter at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! When the gas meter is around 3/4 full by the time the race starts, you get a turbo boost to start the race. Since the acceleration of the vehicles are different through the game, there is no set time of when to hit the gas. Usually, pressing the gas between "One", and "Two" will work, but sometimes you need to practice the exact time.
Hidden track Velocitar
Sent in by Code Hunter Finish Wipeout 64's "Race" competition by getting at least "bronze", and you will be able to race on the hidden track, Velocitar.
