Go to Red Canyon 1 from Red Canyon 2Sent in by Dan Owen at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! In Red Canyon 2 you can go to Red Canyon 1! All you need to do, exadgeringally speaking, is bounce. Hit the first ramp on the zig-zags, and use a boost on the second. Time the jump so you land on the third. Hold Down with all your might! If done well, you will land on the piece of track for Red Canyon I. Sometimes you can drive on the track, other times you get lifted off. You can drive off of the track, so be careful.
Go to White Land 1 from White Land 2Sent in by Dan Owen at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! In White Land 2, you can go to White Land 1! Drive the first lap to the spot with the big jump. Time the jump so you land on the ramp on the end of the jump. Hold down and you will fly across the wall onto White Land I!
Pink car tipSent in by Ken DeRensis The overall best car is the pink one. It has good steering and good speed, although it is slow to accelerate. However, if you want fast accel., choose the yellow car (BE WARNED: IT HAS THE WORST STEERING IN THE GAME AND YOU WILL CONSTANTLY SKID ON EVERY TURN!). If you want pretty good speed and all right steering, choose the green car.
Making turnsSent in by Ken DeRensis If you want to make turns more efficiently, stay on the outside of the track and start to turn sooner to take the turn on the inside.
Fast acceleration with the pink carSent in by Ken DeRensis If you want fast acceleration with the pink car, hold the acceleration button before you start the race. When the race starts, move over two lanes so that the yellow car bumps you. Then move over another lane so that another car bumps you. If you have the yellow car, then there is no need to do this.
Geting over large jumpsSent in by Ken DeRensis at The Unofficial World of Nintendo!!! To get over large jumps, hold the down button until you land. You won't lose speed when you land. You can also do this on ramps.
Jumping trickSent in by D.W. In Port Town 2, go around the track once, save your Sjet until you get to the second jump after the starting line. Jump to your right of the jump while using the Sjet you should see another part of the track. If you do it right you should land on the track. It won't help you but it can be fun to do.
Speed increaseUnless you drive the Golden Fox (yellow car), you can always get an initial speed increase by using the quick start (hold down the accelerator to full before start) and leaning to the right. By moving into the next car's "lane" you can force him to hit you from behind giving you a good push. If you use the Fire Stingray (Pink), you can do this twice, first Blue Falcon will hit you then moving a little farther right, Wild Goose (Green) will hit you. This initial 2nd place position will enable you to take the lead rather quickly (beginner and standard levels).
