Execute a Rising Slash

To execute a Rising Slash, press Down + Forward + Y. 


How to beat the Bosses

Cloud Man- Use powered up M.Buster shots, slide when he tries to blow 
you off the edge, and slide under him when he charges. 

Junk Man- Just wait till he jumps over you then zap him with Thunder Strike. 

Freeze Man- When he comes near you, use Junk shield. 

Turbo Man- Shoot him with ice at the start, then dodge and blast his 
bubble with M.Buster, and blast him with ice whenever you have the chance. 

Clown (at the museum)- Shoot his head with M.Buster or shoot your fist 
at his head if you have R.Adaptor. 

Slash Man- Blast him with ice then dodge the paint he drops. 

Spring Man- Use Slash claw and jump right when he fires his fist at you. 

Shade Man- Use wild coil or Rocket Punch and dodge when he swoops 
down by sliding. 

Turbo Man- Use Crush Noise and jump over him when he charges at you. 

Bass- Use Rocket Punch and dodge his shots, you should have an energy tank 
to be safe. 

Guts Man (rebuilt)- Use slash claw to swipe the blocks at him, and you 
should have at least one energy tank. 

Bass with T. Adaptor- This time, Bass uses his Treble Apadtor. mimic him 
by using Rush Adaptor, and watch out, he can fire his fist too! 

Turtle- Fire at his head with M.Buster, and use Junk Shield to kill the 
little turtles.

Beware! If you beat either Slash Man, Spring Man, Shade Man or Turbo Man 
first, or all, before you beat Burst Man, Cloud Man, Junk Man and Freeze Man,
you get a password that DOES NOT WORK! The only way to get around this
problem is to beat all robot masters and then write down your password,
when you are ready for Dr. Wily.

Find the letters R.U.S.H

If you want to find the letters R.U.S.H first go to Burst 
Mans stage. You'll see the R. Burst man is real easy to beat. 
Second go to the Cloud Mans stage if you want to find the 
letter U. Beat Ice Man the shoot the guy that flies. When 
your in the part when the flour is invisible on one part, 
jump, you'll see a flour up the use R.COIL to jump high. Then 
you will see a life. Get the life, then go to the edge on the left. 
Don't fall of jump off the edge. Hold Left on the D-pad, then keep 
jumping on the left. Then you'll see the letter U. Beat Cloud Man 
with Danger Wrap. Then go to Junk Mans stage. You need to have 
Freeze Cracker to get the letter. The letter is in the lava. Freeze 
the lava then go in to a secret place. Beat Junk Man with Thunder 
Bolt. Go to the Ice Mans stage, you'll find the letter high. To beat 
Ice Man use the Junk Shield. Then if you never got the two 
letters U. and S. go and get them.


Fight against Bass
After you enter all of the numbers, hold the L and R buttons on both 
controllers, then press Start and you'll enter an area where you fight 
against Bass. Mega Man and Bass can use Street Fighter-style moves. 
If you don't hold the L and R Buttons when you press Start, you'll 
just start the normal game, but you'll have all of the items. You'll 
also be able to go straight to the end of the game with this code.


Geting Auto's missing Mega-bolt
Auto's missing Mega-bolt is in Spring Man's stage. In the large 
spring room, up and to the left, some spring-loaded jack-in-the-boxes 
can change direction when you jump on them. One will be near a piece 
of wall that looks slightly different. Jump on the box so that the 
jack-in-the-box will punch through it. The Bolt is inside.


Geting the invincible Protoshield
If you meet up with Proto Man in area of the stages in a 
certain order, he will reward you with his invincible Protoshield! 
(After a brief contest between the brothers, of course.) See him 
in Cloud Man's stage, then Turbo Man's, and lastly in Shade Man's house.


Shade Man's stage tip
In Shade Man's stage, there are two possible routes. When 
fighting the large Pumpkin-bot, kill the tiny pumpkin inside to 
have the floor collapse and go down. Kill the Pumpkin-bot by 
blasting it between the eyes and you will advance forward.


Thunder Bolt tip
The Thunder Bolt activates certain machines in Junk Man's stage. 
Look for a circuit box-looking thingie.


Fighting the Gut's Man abomination
When fighting the Gut's Man abomination, he will sometimes bring 
down large boulders and shove them towards you. Hit them with 
the Slash Claw before he touches them and they will ram into 
him. Nice damage.
