To get extra lives and more, do the following. Highlight the System 
Configuration Option. Then press and hold R, and press B. when the 
System Configuration screen appears, press L and R on Controller 2 
simultaneously for the Special Environment to appear. Press A, B, X, 
and Y on Controller 2 simultaneously to call up a Restricted Stage 
Select, then press Start and Select on Controller 2, so you can get 
up to 30 Ships and 99 Credits. (At the end of the game you won't 
get the millions of points.)
