Play against more challenging players
Use this trick to play against more challenging players in the VS 
mode. First, set the mode to COM. Then press L, R, X, Start
simultaneously. You'll hear the word "Yoshi". When you begin, 
everything will seem the same, until the opponent appears. He will 
have different colors, indicating a more tougher opponent. 


Tougher Vs. Mode
Enter the Vs. Mode and set it to COM. Hold down L, R, and X and press 
Start for a tougher Vs. Mode.


Stage select
On the Action Mode Menu screen, set the round to "10," set the speed 
to "High," and set the music to "Off." On Controller 2, simultaneously 
press the L Button, R Button, Select and Start. On Controller 1, press 
Left or Right to select the stage you wish to start on.
